Release PV600 SV100

This is the initial release of the redesigned OneStream Guided Reporting solution. The theme of this release is to provide a framework to dynamically integrate customer data content in a report viewing workspace as structured in the organization.

NOTE: This release of the Guided Reporting solution is a full redesign and is not an upgrade to the previous version. To view only the current version, remove all prior dashboards from the previous solution.

Prerequisites

The My Company Name, LLC platform version 6.0.0 or later is required.

New

You can view all reports in a single dashboard and apply them to Cube Views and dashboards.

  • The access right to dashboard components is based on security levels.

  • Security applies to report groups and individual reports.

Report Management

The Report Management page provides a single location for an administrator to:

  • Create report groups.

  • Select the Cube View or dashboard reports for the groups.

  • Discover parameters for Cube View reports that populate a Selector List Table that provides the administrator with a list of parameters used in the specified Cube View report.

Settings

On the Settings page, you can set up and use Global Parameters and set automatic update behavior.

Home Page

The Home page allows you to:

Use multiple parameters for a single dimension on the user interface.

Use existing artifacts as established in your application. Reports are customized to the data available for the specific parameter filters set by the business user.

NOTE: Parameters are available for any dimension type.
